We’re not going to lie, we love summer! The sun is shining, people are off work, going on holiday, or taking day trips with an iced coffee in hand. Most importantly, everyone is happy and as you know we’re huge fans of positive energy and positive impact! So in this week’s blog, we decided to ask some of the team, what they love most about London in the summer. Read what they had to say.
Jose, Cluster Manager - Clapham & Ladbroke Grove.
I love that it's the holiday season which means when I’m not working, I’m firing up the BBQ with a beer in hand. It’s the only time of the year I’ll have a beer actually. I also love to fill up the swimming pool (some like to say it’s a paddling pool) and I enjoy the commute without wearing 50 jackets. Shorts and t-shirts all the way!

I love beer gardens, people talking about how nice it is outside, the colourful sunrises, and that everyone is in a better mood. People are more able to express themselves through their clothing choices too. I just love summer!

I love the vibes that London brings during the summer, everybody is active and out and about. I also love the activities on offer that you can do for free with friends and family.

I enjoy doing everything outside. The outdoor seating, walks in the park or having an ice cold coffee or beer in the sunshine. It’s the best!

I love having drinks outside with my friends and going to festivals. I also enjoy having BBQs and the longer days and light nights.
George, Head of Food - Ladbroke Grove.
In the summer, there are so many locals around in the Ladbroke Grove area, so I love that we get so many different characters visiting us in-store. I also enjoy a beer all year round, but it’s even better in the sunshine.
