Over Under was founded in 2015 by a half-British, half-Kiwi team — hence “Over” and “Under” — with a mission to bring the vibrant Aussie/NZ café and brunch culture to London.

Over the next decade, our cafés became a staple of the West London coffee scene, growing to six locations by 2021 and building a loyal community along the way.

In 2022, Over Under was acquired by the legendary team at Blank Street to support their London expansion, with several of our much-loved cafés transitioning into Blank Street locations.

Since 2025, Over Under has once again been operating independently, now across four London locations. We’ve been quietly refreshing our spaces, evolving and expanding our brunch menu, and building a new team who are genuinely stoked to be part of the next chapter.
